    The Spider PLM Support Service streamlines the management of engineering documents and drawings throughout their entire lifecycle by providing comprehensive tools and training for document creation, change control, auditing, and system access. It seamlessly integrates with key platforms such as AutoCAD, Adobe, SAP, and Teamcenter, ensuring efficient data handling and user support. The service enforces standardized processes and ongoing system maintenance to maintain compliance and operational integrity. Specifically, drawing updates in AutoCAD require trained administrators, while engineering requests and turnovers are managed through dedicated Request & Turnover forms found under Spider Submittals. PDF editing for turnovers is fully supported via Adobe, and bulk load operations are facilitated with training and tools available through the Spider Value portal, promoting consistent and effective document management across engineering teams.

  • Concierge

    The Concierge Service streamlines all project data entry activities by consolidating them into a single dedicated team, ensuring that the right data is accurately entered into the appropriate systems at the optimal time. Each week, the Concierge meets with the Project Manager for 30 minutes to update all relevant systems—including SAP, Coupa, Planview, Mega, iRISK, and VERITAS—with the week’s data. During these sessions, the Concierge efficiently navigates to the necessary data fields, prompts the PM for the required information, and inputs the data on their behalf. While the Concierge manages the data entry process, the PM retains full ownership, accountability, and control over the content. This approach enhances data quality, delivers stronger insights into key performance indicators, promotes a better understanding of underlying issues, and supports improved decision-making. Additionally, it reduces the frequency of changes and training needs, leading to greater operational efficiency.
